{Bookmarks} Baby Girl Arriving...

My mom is hosting a little baby shower for a young couple who attend my parents weekly bible study. They are about to have a little girl after having two boys. My mom wanted me to make her the exact same bookmarks I made for my own baby shower back in January as her favors. Of course I swapped out the blue for pink and took out all of the personalized info.

I added dark and light pink polka dot ribbon to each. My mom's intention was for this favor to serve as a new bookmark for each woman's bible. The verse on these is oh so appropriate for a new baby about to enter the world {Psalm 139: 13-14}.

Lastly, I had this little glass vase that I quickly tied another piece of the pink polka dot ribbon around for my mom to display the bookmarks in and for each guest to easily grab on her way out the door.

{Holiday} Happy 4th of July!

I love Independence Day. Maybe it's the festive colors, or the fireworks, or the family parties and food, or that my birthday is the next day, or MAYBE, just maybe it's the fact that we live in the BEST country in the entire world because of the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrafice for our freedom.

I'm headed to my aunt and uncle's 4th of July party tomorrow. I made my aunt, who likes to read, a patriotic bookmark as a little hostess gift. It's just a very small token of appreciation for all the work she and my uncle do to prepare for and host this wonderful celebration for their family and friends.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY AND ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND!

Bookmarks....

I ordered a very beautiful patterned cardstock for my friend at work who put in a request for itineraries and stickers for her family reunion in June. I ordered a few extra sheets of this paper and used it to make her a bookmark. While I was at it, I made myself one too!
