To be completely honest...
I'm excited and NERVOUS about doing a giveaway.
I really want feedback from my readers
so I can create posts they enjoy reading,
but I'm not sure anyone will actually participate.
If this giveaway is a flop,
well, at least I know I tried it.
AND, if it's successful,
I have even BETTER ones planned for later in the
month and December...just in time for Xmas ;-}

Nicole's Notecards {My He'art Project}

{Each notecard has a picture of something that resemembles a heart. There were six different pictures that Nicole sent me to use on the notecards.}

{On the back of each card is the city, state, and year when the picture was taken and on the bottom is Nicole's logo and website. The logo was created by her friend Michelle who is a graphic artist.}
{I wrapped each set of notecards with a belly band with Nicole's logo on the front.}
These are the notecards I made for Nicole, one of my dearest and oldest friends in the world. We met when we were ten years old and were completely inseperable for years until our interests finally took us to different parts of the country (we are complete opposites but always hit it off!). After living in California and Chicago for a few years, Nicole finally settled in Brooklyn, New York. She's a true city girl! And a fashionista with a creative, artsy, unique style - perfect for her job at W magazine in Manhattan. Anyone that knows me, well, you know I'm pretty much the complete opposite - ha! In any case, she is having a show and asked me to create notecards for her. The theme is "hearts" hence the title of her project, My He'art Project. Check these out!

Personalized Notecards for Mary & Company

These are the notecareds I made for my friend Mary. She requested 6 sets with 8 cards per set. I used 4 different designs and added different initials to each set. These were printed on white shimmery cardstock with a matching white shimmery envelope. I packaged them with a little Lime Design tag that says, "Made for you by Kate."

Personalized Notecards for Nicole

My best friend from high school, Nicole, asked me to create notecards for her using a monogram that one of her friends who is a graphic artist had created. I took the monogram and paired it with some simple designs and dark pink envelopes. These are 3.5 x 5 folded notecards printed on white shimmery paper.

Back to School - YIKES!

In just a few short weeks I'll be back to work. Yes, I'm sad to be going back after a relaxing summer of not ever having to set an alarm clock, meeting girlfriends for coffee and/or lunch, beach days on a whim, family vacations, and most especially, not grading papers! June, July, and August are my salvation, and I thank God I'm fortunate enough to have a job where I get almost three months of permanent vacation every year. But lala land will end soon enough and back to teaching, grading, and insanity I'll be! So, to get myself motivated to head back into school this week to begin setting up my classroom, I whipped up these cute little thank you cards especially designed for a teacher! Occasionally, I have students give me gifts or parents do something to show their appreciation, and now I have these cute little notecards to pull out and write my thank you on!

I created two versions: one I personalized with my name and one I kept simple with just "Thank You."

Monograms - {I L.O.V.E them!}

I have a serious thing for monograms. I'm a sucker for them as a matter of fact! I had to send some thank you notes recently, so I made simple cards with my initial on one, my full monogram on another, and my last name on the last one (not pictured b/c I've already sent those out!).

Personalized Notecards

I absolutely love monograms and anything personalized with a person's first or last initial. So, this year for Christmas, I decided to make my girlfriends at work personalized notecards as gifts. They each received 8 cards on shimmery cardstock with matching envelopes. I used 4 different colored envelopes to coordinate with the designs and colors I used on the cards. Then I wrapped each with pretty ribbon. I think they turned out cute!
