{Inspiration} At its Finest

I continue to be wowed on a daily basis by all of the extremely talented ladies out there that keep me on my creative toes. I thought I'd share with you some of the parties, food, pics, etc. that make me swoon and keep me inspired.

Laura Winslow is a Phoenix based photog whose work I have a slight obsession with. I LOVE her style. Everything about her photos :: the bright, clear colors, the way she captures a moment in time, just the sheer beauty of each frame....I could just stare all day long!

I have also fallen head over heels in love with this campout party. Always on the hunt for party inspiration, especially for little boys, this stood out as something really different to me. Just like the outdoors, boys are rugged...and what little boy doesn't love to get his hands dirty outside?!?! This would be such a cute party for a boy ages 7-10 or so and born in the fall. What a great time of year to campout!

How about this cute art party for the little artist in your life? I love the painters palette decorated with cupcakes to resemble paint colors. Adorable! Lots of bright, fun colors to have fun with too! This theme could also be adapted for a boy or girl.

Bakerella has done it again. This chica has MAD SKILLS in the kitchen! I have a major crush on the striped paper straws that she so cleverly cut in half and used in her milkshake cupcakes. CUTE! CUTE! CUTE! {I used the red striped straws in milk bottles on my Christmas cookie dessert bar back in December and have some lined up again for my boy's upcoming bash!}.

These manly mustache cookies with a glam twist {ummm...hello edible glitter!} are major inspiration for Dean's Little Mister Mustache Bash later this month!

Unfortunately, you can't truly appreciate this picture because of it's size, but believe me when I tell you, this is one GORGEOUS bouquet by Flowers by Semia. When I was planning my wedding in 2008, I found Semia through one of the wedding blogs I frequently visited and instantly fell in love with her work {unfortunately she is a New England based florist, so I couldn't hire her}.

I also really love when a bride carries a colorful bouquet {I know, I know...there are many who disagree with me and think the bride should be in ALL white, flowers included....but NOT ME!}. I'm also loving how even the fabric wrapped around the flowers is colorful!

And last but not least, I had to share this totally cool PBK's bedroom that any girl {or mom...haha} would love. How about those built-in beds?!

BE INSPIRED!
