Aren't these FUN?!? They are made from spray painted plates and candlesticks from the dollar store {I did not make these, but I think I might try this!}. I love different kinds of serving trays, platters, stands, etc and have started to build a nice collection, but they can be pricey. Home Goods is usually where I find them at a reasonable price, but making your own from dollar store finds is even more economical!
This is cute for a more formal look.

I was wanting to do something like this. Would it be food safe or for that matter, water proof?
